When & Why
Our trip to Kokoda commences on the 4th October 2009 for 9 days and concludes on 12th October. We are walking south (Owers Corner) to north (Kokoda). Kokoda Spirit (http://www.kokodaspirit.com/) is our trek leader of choice.
The team is diverse in age, background, location and experience but all tied together by one goal and that is to experience what so many other's have and most importantly understand the hardship endured and courage of our war veterans who defended our great land in WWII.
This blog will be a place to record our training, thoughts, photos and preparation for this once in a life time and hopefully life changing experience.
